Nature is the core of the curriculum and teaching method. Inquiry/play based learning and hands-on exploration tied to the natural and seasonal changes occurring in the world around us are emphasized in Forever Wild programming. The natural curiosities and interests of the children are used to develop earth science learning topics that are meaningful. Children are provided opportunities to master skills at their own pace and build upon previous skills to learn new ones. Students are offered developmentally appropriate activities which allow children to explore and learn about themselves and the world around them in hands-on, concrete ways. Children utilize all of their senses to expand their knowledge, skills, and understanding in meaningful ways.
